Stephanie F. Powell

"STEP"

Stephanie was born the middle child of Amos and LoGrant in Los Angeles, CA. She attended Ralph J. Bunche Elementary, Enterprise Junior High, and graduated from Compton High School in 1983. After high school, she attended Cal Poly Pomona for some time. She married Clinton McKinley in 1991, and they had four children together.  Her family eventually settled out in the Lancaster-Palmdale area.  She worked as a transit operator in metropolitan Los Angeles for many years until finally retiring.  "Step" passed away in 2016 and was cremated.  She is remembered fondly by her family, children, and grandchildren.
